Diane Crane

Diane Crane began riding at age 4. At 8 she was competing in western and hunt seat classes. At 10 she added in saddleseat, competing through her school years.

She was introduced to dressage after being hired on a breeding and training farm in upstate NY.  There Diane started young horses and trained off the track thoroughbreds for eventing and field hunting.

After moving to the Chicago area, she became a riding instructor and has taught for 18 years. Her goals in training riders are safety and fun while encouraging the riders to improve according to their own skill and comfort levels.

Diane's lesson horses all have show experience and most are still competing, being ridden by students. Diane currently competes in dressage on Geisha (stable name: Twix), a 7-year old paint mare adopted from the Heaved Animal Humane Society.
